Michael Trigoboff & Patricia Leonard
We would not have the lives we have if not for our educations. Mine paved the way for a long and inspiring career working with our country’s veterans as a counselor in the VA. My husband Michael earned his doctorate at a time when computer science was changing the very way we live. After a career in the private sector, he came to PCC where he now teaches Computer Science.
In my time at PCC as a volunteer tutor and as a student, and Michael’s as an instructor, we have both met, and been inspired by countless students who overcome unthinkable obstacles every day to achieve what has been so formative in our lives – an education. They, like us, know the power it holds.
The decision to become Champions for Opportunity was an easy one for us. We are fortunate that our education and careers allow us to make a gift to such an urgent need. We understand that barriers facing our students go beyond tuition. And we believe these students have what it takes to achieve their dreams.
We are so lucky to be able to play a part in helping others unlock the power of an education!
