Cascade Gallery is featuring an installation by Las Vegas artist, Danielle Kelly, Fear Is The Mind Killer. In this show Kelly describes her drawings, objects, and installations as “evidence of and for hope.” These are acts of imagination and creativity, the juxtaposition between unassuming materials, self-supporting, liminal, and yet what we all strive for. From the moment our mark exists in the world it is optimistic, purposeful and is an opportunity for change. Objects, architecture, and people instigate and deliberate with art, as an event, creating an action. Even at a glance, in the smallest of small ways, we are hopeful and more importantly, activated in ways that have potential to change our world.
