For over forty years, Tom Coleman has been developing his craft as a ceramic artist, working with both porcelain and stoneware clay. He has also published several books on ceramics. His work has gained him numerous awards and notoriety in the field of ceramics.
Tom is a graduate of the Northwest College of Art in Portland, OR. After starting his career as a studio potter in Portland, OR, he moved to Nevada in 1987, where he taught ceramics at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Tom continues to grow as an artist and shares his discoveries and enthusiasm through workshops across the USA and around the world.
This exhibition is being prestented in conjunction with a Tom Coleman Workshop. The workshop is co-sponsored by the PCC Rock Creek Potters Guild and the Oregon Potters Association.
