I made this painting in my color design class. The 12-step color wheel is on the left column and the top row. The left is my “base” (70%) and the top is my “mix” (30%). Each row contains 70% of the main color from the color wheel (on the far left) mixed with 30% of the color above (from the top of the column). In this project, I learned a lot about color relationships, and how they behave when mixed with each other. Also, I decided to add my own touch to this color chart by incorporating my signature design: a crescent moon.
