This paper collage is a class project in which I explored two dimensional design using pattern with a camouflage influence. Using magazine paper clippings in black, white, and grey, with three found images, I focused on leading the viewer throughout the piece using visual flow, visual interest, and positive/negative space. The found images I chose were of different elements of nature. I chose these images as an extension of the camouflage influence, as well as a way to communicate both the fragility and the perpetuity of nature.
