The idea of this project was to instead of drawing lines signifying edges, creases, etc... I would just do different values signifying when a edge was apparent. Also another goal was to get really dark darks and bright whites. I drew it on a 18" by 24" sheet of 98 pound paper. I first outlined the drawing with vine charcoal, then went over it again with compressed charcoal.
