I explore the idea of perseverance using the image of a spider and a skull as the motif. Perseverance becomes a behavioral mechanism for a spider to survive and succeed. The skull is where ideas come from and where the mindset of perseverance is conceived and nurtured. The spider serves as a metaphor for how undocumented individuals persevere through systemic bigotry and alienation until death, where all that remains are the bones showing the homogeneity of human existence.
