Job Summary

Under the direction of Planning & Capital Construction 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网, the Project Specialist will assist and support all facets of work in the office of P&CC. This position is intended to offer a wide range of support typical in capital project work, such as planning studies, programming assessments, records documentation, signage coordination, move support, stakeholder engagement, and more.? The position will work both collaboratively with the P&CC team and independently on tasks as assigned.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Works collaboratively with P&CC staff and vendors to support and implement PCC standards and best practices. Works with other departments to ensure compatible and interactive exchanges of information.
  2. Utilizes project management software to coordinate the collection and sharing of drawings, specifications, operations and maintenance manuals, correspondence, financial information, and other project-related information to ensure timely reporting of information to project management.
  3. Assists?in preparing information and reports for project analysis and/or implementation.
  4. Assists Outreach & Engagement Manager and Project Manager at project user group meetings.
  5. Coordinates fabrication and installation of signage package. Coordinates punch list follow-up after installation.
  6. Assists with the coordination of?college moves, both associated with P&CC projects and other independent projects. Ensure computer/phone/peripheral set-up is complete. Creates and revises furniture or space layout as needed.
  7. 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网s, organizes, and schedules all logistics in the moving of heavy objects, equipment, and furniture in accordance with specifications, objectives, and budget.?Communicates move process to end users. Point person for movers on day of move. Coordinates punch list follow up after moves.
  8. Coordinates?procurement of capital equipment, works with end users to schedule delivery?and installation?of equipment including liaising?with FMS and CDS as needed.
  9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment and Physical Characteristics

Work is generally performed both in an office and on project sites. There are frequent interruptions and changes in the workflow and volume depending on the number of projects being worked on concurrently. Can require prolonged standing, walking, climbing, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, and other physical movements. Driving between project sites within the district and community is often a component of the job.

Minimum Qualifications

Associates degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or other related degree. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
