Nature and Scope of Work
Under the direction of Director of Alternative Programs, manages student resources and support for PCC Prep Alternative Programs which primarily serves a multi-culture (16-21 years old) high school age population. Responsible for developing, planning, implementing and evaluating student support services. Hires, supervises and evaluates program staff. Assists in preparation and monitoring of budgets. Employs highly developed verbal and written skills to interact with most levels of college staff, students, parents, public, community agencies and school districts. Incumbent is a key contributor and is responsible for results or services that facilitate the work of others in a specific work group.
Principal Accountabilities
- 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网s, leads, and supervises student outreach/recruit, orientation/evaluation, and retention services to best serve youth through PCC Prep Alternative Programs.
- Recruits, hires, orients, supervises and evaluates staff.
- Plans and implements the organization of program units to achieve the goals, objectives, and plans of PCC Prep.
- Assures effective communication within PCC Prep, the college, school districts and the community to promote and support program goals and objectives and to ensure quality. Promotes the program by serving on task forces and committees within the College and the community.

- 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网s, compiles, interprets, and submits statistical reports on program accomplishment and activities. Works directly with faculty, staff and partners to implement short and long-term goals.
- Facilitates the development of life skills and counseling and guidance curricula for PCC Prep programs.
- Assists in planning and development of program components for PCC Prep contracts.
- Assists in preparation and monitoring of program budgets and enrollment plans.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a normal office environment.
Physical Requirements
General, minimal physical exertion is required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in education social work, counseling or related field. Experience performing the duties of the job may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis. Two years of supervisory experience. Ability to work with and effectively supervise a culturally, racially and gender-diverse work team. Knowledge of community social service systems. Computer skills (MS Office). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to meet complex goals for contract compliance. Must have the ability to provide own transportation regularly between program sites and to work some evenings.
