Instructors in the area of Å·ÖÞ±­¾öÈü¾º²Âapp_Å·ÖÞ±­×ãÇòÍø-Ͷע|¹ÙÍømental Education must meet one of the following requirements:

Master¡¯s Degree in an appropriate educational field (for example, special/ developmental/ adult education, reading, writing, math, or English) AND experience working with underprepared students (DE Math or English)

OR

Bachelor¡¯s Degree in an appropriate educational field (for example, special/ developmental/ adult education, reading, writing, or English)? AND three years equivalent full-time teaching experience in reading, writing, or English within grade 9 through adult (DE English)

OR

Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Math, Math Education, or ?an appropriate educational field (for example, special/ developmental/ adult education)? with a math emphasis AND three years equivalent full-time teaching experience in mathematics within grade 6 through adult (DE Math)

English and Writing Instructor
  • Education: MFA, MA or PhD in English, Literature, or Rhetoric/Composition, OR an MA or PhD in an interdisciplinary field with a minimum of 30 graduate quarter credit -hours in one or a combination of English, Literature, or Rhetoric/Composition.
  • Experience: Have taught at least four college-level composition classes or have equivalent college classroom experience through a mentoring or internship program.

  • Experience: In addition to the required education, the ideal candidate will have experience teaching writing and/or literature at the lower division collegiate level.
