PCC’s Dental programs and clinic are located on the third floor of the Vanport Building (formerly the Fourth and Montgomery building), next to Portland State University in downtown Portland. The building and its offerings are an unprecedented collaboration between the City of Portland and Portland’s three public higher education institutions: Portland Community College, Oregon Health & Science University, and Portland State University. This innovative joint project offers additional professional development opportunities for students, stimulates local economic growth, and fosters new public-private partnerships.

The Vanport Building houses classrooms for PSU’s College of Education, the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health, PCC’s Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs, as well as PCC’s Institute for Health Professionals Dental Health Education non-credit program. It also includes offices for the city’s Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, PCC’s free dental clinic, low-cost mental health services, as well as ground-floor retail and restaurants.
