Portland Community College will sponsor the one-day conference at its Institute for Management and Professional 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网ment on Thursday, Nov. 20. The conference will be held at the Central Portland Workforce Training Center (located next to OMSI), from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and requires pre-registration. The $99 fee includes workshops, conference materials and a box lunch.

Keynote speaker Sherry Sheng, former director for the Washington Park Zoo, will open the conference with her address, "A Brand Called You." Other workshops, offered by women with national and international credentials, include:

Financing Your New Business ­ JoAnn Haberer will share valuable information on how to grow your business so it’s the one out of every five that makes it past its fifth anniversary. Haberer is the owner and CEO of Action Training Systems Inc., a producer and distributor of video and software-based training programs for firefighters.

Image Matters. . . Fact or Fiction for the Woman of the ’90s ­ Carol C. Peterson, president of Image Matters International, which specializes in corporate image development, identifies way ­ largely based on personal packaging ­ to stand out from other co-workers and competitors.

Women Motivating Women ­ Rachelle Jacover, owner of Strategies for Success, an international consulting firm specializing in organizational development, training and coaching discusses how women becoming agents of change for one another ­ through sharing discoveries and working together ­ can be a prime form of motivation for you.

Conflict Resolution ­ Sandra Herman-Moose, a recent graduate of Seattle University School of Law has been conducting workshops on conflict resolution since 1992 with Portland Police Chief Charles Moose. She’ll share tips to set aside time to identify problems, understand your audience and reach win-win compromises.
