PCC Foundation/US Bank Staff and Faculty Excellence Award Winners Announced

Twelve employees of Portland Community College will be honored Oct. 19 for their dedication and commitment to PCC and its students at the 11th Annual PCC Foundation/US Bank Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards ceremony at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 319 S.W. Pine St., Portland, at 6 p.m.

PCC Foundation/US Bank Staff and Faculty Excellence Award winners consist of seven full-time faculty members, three part-time faculty members, one classified employee and one education technical specialist. President Dan Moriarty announced the names at the college in-service activities prior to the start of the 1999-2000 school year.

Thanks to the ongoing partnership between the college and US Bank, the designated full-time employees will receive $1,000 each, while the part-time faculty members will receive $500 each as winners of the award. The names of those to be recognized at the Oct. 19 ceremony are:
