PCC Workshop to Help Students Find Next College

SYLVANIA CAMPUS – Portland Community College will have an informative workshop for anyone who is thinking of heading to college in the near future. The non-credit course College Bound will include topics such as college researching, admissions information, financial aid guidelines, scholarships and application processes. College Bound will be from 9 a.m. to noon on the Saturdays of Jan. 20 and Jan. 27 in room 323 in the HT Building of the Sylvania Campus, located at 12000 S.W. 49th Avenue. The cost is $28.The primary focus of the class will be on Oregon schools with some contact information on select regional institutions. The second week of the course will be spent entirely on advising sessions with students about what their needs are and what colleges would make the best fit. For more information call 503-731-6618.
