PCC Presents ?Midsummer Night's Dream' at Sylvania

SYLVANIA CAMPUS – Portland Community College’s Theater Arts Department will present a play about the summer of love during the 1960s in an adaptation of a Shakespearean classic. PCC presents, "Midsummer Night’s Dream,"at 7:30 p.m. on May 10-12 and May 17-19 in the performing arts center on the Sylvania Campus, located at 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. This production follows four lovers and six intrepid performers to a forest and into the will of a very hippie kingdom.The cast features 21 PCC students. Mitchell Milliron (West Linn), Brandice Peltier (southwest Portland), Lucas Taylor (Vancouver, Wash.) and Lindsay Thomas (southwest Portland) play the four lovers. The rest of the cast includes Timothy Scarrott (north Portland), Nicholina Terzieff (Hillsboro), Darren Merritt (Lake Oswego), Selena Cunningham (Lake Oswego), Elanor Cohn-Eichner (Sherwood), Kody Harris (Maupin), Erin Howell (southwest Portland), Roni Jonah (Beaverton), Walter Kovach (Newberg), Heather Magoon (northeast Portland), Max Moss (north Portland), Mark Robb (north Portland), Rian Turner (northeast Portland), Nathan Van Williams (Beaverton), Alexa Walker (Aloha), Dylan Wright (southeast Portland) and Amanda Wilkins (Hillsboro).Ticket prices are $5 for students and seniors, and $6 for general admission. Tickets will be on sale at the PCC Sylvania bookstore, or the night of the show at the performing arts center box office. Reservations for tickets can be made by calling 503-977-4949. The show on May 17 will be interpreted for the hearing impaired.
