Class for Guitarists Set at PCC

PORTLAND, Ore. – A non-credit class for beginning and intermediate electric guitar players is being offered this summer by Portland Community College.Electric Guitar: Beginning and Intermediate will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, June 30 through Aug. 18, in CM 101 at PCC’s Cascade Campus, 750 N. Killingsworth St. Tuition is $36. Instructor Steven W. Adams will cover scales, chords, alternate tunings, and effects used in classical rock, metal, and "alternative"music.
