Learn Art of Animation in PCC Class

PORTLAND, Ore. – The art of character animation will be explored in a non-credit class co-sponsored this winter by Portland Community College and Will Vinton Studios.The class will meet from 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays for six weeks, Jan. 8 through Feb. 2, at Will Vinton Studios, 1400 N.W. 22nd Ave. The cost is $75. Instructor Jeff White will cover the various forms of animation, including hand-drawn, stop-motion and computer-generated, and teach the steps involved in creating an animated film.
