Media Advisory: Paco Padilla to Give Free Concert at PCC

ROCK CREEK CAMPUS International musician Paco Padilla will appear live in concert at Portland Community College in January. The Mexican singer and songwriter is scheduled to give a free concert at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at The Forum in Building 3 at the Rock Creek Campus, 17705 N.W. Springville Road. Padilla, who hails from Guadalajara, is a nationally respected musician in Mexico, integrating deep feelings into traditional and contemporary songs.The sponsors of the event are Portland State University Chicano/Latino Studies and Music departments, State Farm Insurance and PCC. Both PSU and PCC worked together to bring Padilla to the Rock Creek Campus. The campus is easily accessible from Highway 26 or by Tri-Met Bus routes 52 and 67.
