PCC gardening series turns thumbs green

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Whether you are new to gardening or already have a green thumb, winter is the perfect time to start thinking about your spring plan. A Portland Community College non-credit, four-week gardening series provides tips, tricks and skills to help you turn your indoor and outdoor plantings into beautiful, healthy works of art. Acquire gardening knowledge that will produce beautiful results with the Home Gardening Series with Rod Smith. The class will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 10 through Jan. 31, in Room 1508 at PCC’s Washington County Workforce Training Center, 18624 N.W. Walker Road. Cost is $49.
