Campus Roadshows in October share next phase for bond improvements at Rock Creek

The last months of 2011 promise to be? busy at PCC’s Rock Creek Campus as the Bond Project Team moves forward with the Proposed 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网ment Action for Building 7’s east addition and quad upgrades, and the land use review process with Washington County. Over the next couple months, the team has scheduled a number of events to share the proposed plans with both campus stakeholders and the broader community surrounding the college.

The team started the Design 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网ment phase (DD for short) in early September and shared its current thinking on the proposed addition for? Building 7 (Science and Technology) with the Bond Internal Steering Committee (BISC) on October 10.

PCC invites all campus students, faculty and staff to come to the Rock Creek Campus Roadshows scheduled on October 20 and 21 (Thursday and Friday) to review and give input on the proposed building addition and quad upgrades. Both events will take place on the ground floor of Building 2. Thursday’s event will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm; Friday’s is from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be additional opportunities for campus stakeholders to comment on the design this fall, including a revolving exhibit on display in the atrium of Building 7 east addition.

The Rock Creek Campus Bond Team is presenting project updates on the proposed Building 7 east addition and quad upgrades at two campus roadshows this October.

To reach the broader community, the team will provide a regular? project update to the Citizens Participation Organization 7 (CP07) on October 24. In concert with the county’s land use review process, PCC will be mailing notices to surrounding residents about upcoming review opportunities.

The team will be submitting the land-use application in early December.
