Transfer luncheon helps current student decide next college step

Photos and story by

Students are welcome to attend the PCC Alumni Transfer Panel Luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, in the Event Center, Building 9, Rock Creek Campus.

Four PCC alumni will be on a panel to speak about their successful university transfer experience and their career paths and include Olivia Yeung (2012 PCC Diamond Alumni Award winner), Liliana Luna (now a student at Portland State University, Kyle Davis (a student at Eastern Oregon University) and Pia Veliz (Warner Pacific College student). Plus, those who attend will be entered into a raffle for a $50 university admissions application fee waiver and receive a free lunch. Representatives from Portland State University, Pacific University, Linfield College and Washington State University will be on hand as well.

This is a great opportunity for students who are considering transferring to a four-year school to hear from a group of alumni who have successfully made the transfer transition.

To attend, RSVP to Tamara Ryan at tamara.ryan@pcc.edu.
