Japanese professionals visit Rock Creek Campus as part of ‘International Education Week’

PCC’s Office of International Education welcomed seven Japanese professionals the week of Nov. 17 – “International Education Week” – as part of the International Visitors 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网 Program coordinated by Portland’s World Affairs Council.
After a tour of PCC’s Rock Creek Campus, the visitors met with Campus President Sandra Fowler-Hill. Japanese language students host dignitaries
On Dec. 2, the Rock Creek Campus hosted Japanese Consul General Hiroshi Furusawa, who was on campus to present a commendation to Karen Sanders (division dean of Business & Applied Technology) in recognition of the college’s Japanese language program. At Rock Creek, he was hosted by Japanese instructor Morgan Lindberg and her Japanese 201 class. The Consular Office of Japan in Portland is a branch of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
