Despite occasional rain showers throughout the day, the annual Harvest Festival on Oct. 19 at Portland Community College’s Rock Creek Campus shined bright once again. The ASPCC Rock Creek-led event was a showcase of PCC’s largest westside campus, featuring free pumpkins, hay rides, arts, crafts, live music and dance, and, of course, the always popular Rock Creek’s farm animals, who entertain and are used as learning animals for the Veterinary Technology Program.

Hundreds of attendees, including families, from nearby Washington County communities and beyond joining PCC employees and students, it was another joyous fall celebration at the Rock Creek Campus.

I was not a part of this but seeing the pictures bring joy and happiness to my heart knowing that I belong to such a loving family that helps not only our students but the community in general. PCC is a family that accepts everyone no matter what. The events, help, and genuine care they show for our students and their families is one to be modeled after.
