International Education Week’s schedule.

“International Education Week serves as a global celebration of cultural exchange and the richness and diversity that international education brings to our institutions and communities,” said Tiff Hayes, International Student Life coordinator. “Encouraging international students to share their stories and experiences during this week is crucial, as their narratives show us the transformative impact of global learning and understanding across borders. Through their voices, we can dismantle stereotypes, bridge cultural divides, and cultivate a more interconnected and empathetic global community.”

IEW is a nationwide event in the United States, encouraging colleges, universities, and organizations to come together and celebrate the benefits of international education and cultural exchange. It also aims to prepare Americans for a globalized world and attract future leaders from abroad to study and exchange experiences.

For those interested in exploring IEW events across the country, the U.S. Department of State’s IEW website is a valuable resource. Additionally, PCC’s Library has curated a special IEW page, offering information on related readings and research topics.
