Two PCC shows highlight diversity in art world

Two PCC campus-based art galleries are hosting off beat art shows now through the middle of April.

Currently in the Rock Creek Campus’ Helzer Art Gallery Ariana Jacob’s image show “The Office of Questioning Questions” runs through April 14. Jacob will be in residence on selected days: she will be here today (March 7) from 12:30-5:30 p.m. and will give an artist’s talk in the gallery at 12:30 p.m., on Friday, March 9. She will be in the gallery from 12:30 to 5:30 on Tuesday, March 13 as well. April dates will be announced. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday. At the Cascade Campus Art Gallery, Michael Todd Arrigo’s ?“Packing Up” runs from Thursday, March 8 through April 5. A gallery reception will occur from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, march 8 at the gallery. The exhibit consists of photos, video or audio snippets displayed in common objects and activities. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is located in Room 102, Terrell Hall. For more information e-mail: cascade.gallery@pcc.edu.
