CLIMB Center for Advancement will be Closed August 20 through 25
Photos and story by Jim Beriault
Please note that the CLIMB Center will be temporarily closed due to classroom upgrades and construction happening this August 20 through 25.? Classes will resume on August 27.
CLIMB was awarded PEAK (President Entrepreneurial Advisory Council) funding to upgrade classrooms for better efficiency and multi-use.? The Advisory Council looks at ideas submitted from faculty and staff for saving money, increasing student enrollment and improving efficiency.? With the remodeling of the classrooms, more classes can now be offered at CLIMB.
Many of the classrooms will have their carpeting removed, solid surfaces laid, and sinks installed.? Through this effort, the classrooms will be better able to conduct health care classes and be compliant with State of Oregon practice guidelines.
The remodeling will affect all three floors of the CLIMB Center, hence the need to close down the facility during construction.
If you have any questions, concerns or need specific class information please contact Michele Belunes at (971) 722-6679.
My daughter Isabella would like to register for fall. When is a good time to do this?
Diana,
Registration for fall term is already open. It would be best to register now to avoid missing out on classes that might fill up: http://www.pcc.edu/registration/
Since the building is closed does anyone know where the classes that are currently in session going to meet? No word of this yet. Would be nice if we as students knew in advance where to meet for class. Just saying.
To Diana,
Your daughter can register for classes either by calling Registration at 971-722-8888 option 2. Or she can log onto mypcc and register there, she will need her G number to do so and the CRN number of the class.
Vickie,
I do not know what class you are taking here at CLIMB but all classes have been moved to other PCC campuses and all students were notified by email by the department. So if you are a paralegeal student that department notified all students over a week ago. If you are taking a community education class that department was responsible for notifying you.
If I still have not address your concerns please feel free to contact me via email michele.belunes@pcc.edu
