Cardio-Kickboxing Will Give Students a Kick

HILLSBORO – Portland Community College will be offering a course this fall that really packs a punch and will help students have a kick as they learn to defend themselves and stay in shape. The non-credit class Cardio-Kickboxing will increase muscle tone and decrease inches while teaching practical self-defense skills in a fun, safe and effective manner. Wrist wraps for this class is recommended for students.Cardio-Kickboxing will go every Saturday from 8-8:50 a.m. starting Saturday, Sept. 30 and ending Dec. 2. There will be no classes on Saturday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Nov. 25. This active and exhilarating class will be held at the Northwest Fitness Complex in Hillsboro, located at 2055 S.E.
