The purpose of the event was to showcase specialized training programs that directly address the needs of local businesses. Ideas for what trainings were needed were solicited from the Chamber of Commerce membership, compiled by the director Sheyrl Kelsh and then related trainings were developed by the CLIMB Center.

The business symposium was the first in a series of symposiums created to engage local businesses and illustrate what PCC has to offer them. The three trainings provided were at the June symposium were, “The Four Pillars of Digital Marketing,” “Cultivating Customer Connections,” and “Creating Memorable 15-Second Business Introductions.”?The event was very well attended with more than 40 local businesses represented.
