PCC Class Helps Prepare for Citizenship Test

NEWBERG – A free, non-credit class for those interested in taking the U.S. citizenship test is being offered this winter by Portland Community College.Becoming a U.S. Citizen will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 11 through March 22, in Room 401 at Newberg High School, 1300 Elliott Road. Students must be able to read and write in English at fourth grade level or higher, must have resided in the U.S. for at least four years, and must possess a green card.
