Student Jacqueline Finck re-careers into world of medical imaging

Radiography student Jacqueline Finck was chosen as one of 99 students across the country to participate in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) 2016 Student 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网ment Program.

Finck is a second-year student in the Radiography Program at the Sylvania Campus.

Finck will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2016 ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting, June 23-26, in Las Vegas. In addition, Finck will attend educational courses specifically designed for students and be assigned a professional mentor.

The ASRT Student 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网ment Program offers students a chance to get to know the ASRT, attend educational sessions, and network with medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals.

“I was excited that I was one of two students chosen in Oregon to represent our state,” Finck said. “I felt lucky and validated for all of my hard work. I am looking forward to experiencing the driving force behind radiography at a national level of my career focus.”

Finck is a second-year student in the Radiography Program?at the Sylvania Campus, who will be graduating in August. Recently, she was hired as a non-registered radiologic technologist at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and is the graduating class’s club president.

With a bachelor’s of science in Biology from the University of Minnesota, radiography is Finck’s second career after spending 12 years as a wildlife biologist.

Just a small note, the students last name is spelled incorrectly the title of the story.
