Experience Shakespeare in Ashland

A four-day trip to Ashland’s Shakespearean Festival is being offered this summer by Portland Community College.Participants will meet to learn trip details from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 at the Lakewood Community Center, 368 S. State St., Lake Oswego. The Ashland trip will take place Thursday through Sunday, July 26 through 29.The $222 cost includes housing at Southern Oregon State University dormitories and admission to three plays, "Troilus and Cressida,""Merry Wives of Windsor,"and "Oo-Bla-Dee." Led by Lakewood stage manager Kay Vega, the trip will also include a tour of the Elizabethan theater and lectures by featured actors. The trip is co-sponsored by the Lakewood Center.
