Harvest Festival is Oct. 14 at Rock Creek Campus
Photos and story by Janis Nichols
If you have never been to the annual Harvest Festival at the Rock Creek Campus, families are encouraged to put Saturday, Oct. 14, on your calendars and plan to join the fun between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. This fall party offers something for everyone and everything is free and open to the public.
The day includes Aztec Dancers, fiddlers, free pumpkins, a petting zoo, free snacks, face painting, pumpkin decorating, hay rides, a scavenger hunt in the Learning Garden and more. New this year is the Reverse Trick or Treat held at the new Co-Op in Building 5. Participants are asked to donate a nonperishable food item to the Panther Pantry in exchange for some holiday treats and activities.
Harvest Festival is sponsored by the Associated Students of Portland Community College, Rock Creek Campus. Join us—rain or shine.
