Theatre Arts presents the hilarious ‘All in the Timing’

Photos and story by

The Theatre Arts program presents David Ives’ comic masterpiece, ”All in the Timing.” Watch monkeys type Shakespeare or marvel at the social black hole that is “The Philadelphia,” where you cannot get what you ask for, unless you ask for the opposite.

The production features some very funny moments.

There are six plays, for a combined two hours of pure comic genius. It features nine great actors (and singers!) and more than a dozen technical crew members. “All in the Timing” is guest directed by one of Portland’s most unique voices in the theatre, PCC alum Jonathan Walters of Hand2Mouth Theatre. It’s also designed by Dan Hays with costumes by Margaret Chapman.

The production is assistant-directed by two PCC students – Isabella Buckner and Matthew Rivera. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for students, seniors and PCC staff and faculty. For large groups a discount rate of $5 per person can be had. All shows are in the Performing Arts Center at the Sylvania Campus.

Show dates are all at 7:30 p.m. unless noted differently:?Thursday May 6;?Friday, May 7;?Saturday, May 8;?Friday, May 14;?Saturday, May 15; and?Sunday, May 16 (2 p.m.).

This play is not appropriate for people under the age of 12. (Adult language).?For tickets, call (503) 977-4949.
