My name is Jason Pinkal and I have three main roles at Portland Community College: Online Advising and Student Success Specialist, Online Faculty Mentor and CG 101 Instructor. I have been advising and teaching online for over five years, and committed to helping faculty, staff and students navigate the online environment. If I had to pick one tip to give to online students, it would be: Don't hesitate to ask questions and get help. PCC has a ton of services in place to help you make the most of your college experience. Meet with an advisor, see a counselor, visit a Career Exploration Center, join a student club.... All it will cost is you is a bit of your time.
