Are you an immigrant, refugee, or English Language Learner? Are you interested in making a plan to get a great job? Explore College and Careers is an 8-day course designed to help you choose a career goal and create a plan to reach it.

You will:

  • Identify training programs that will help you reach your career goal
  • Learn how your career goal fits in the job market
  • Identify skills that will help you be successful
  • Explore ways to pay for training
  • Build your English vocabulary

Non-native English speakers of all levels are encouraged to join.

?Sign up for Explore: Engen Vocabulary Classes

Explore EnGen: Vocabulary for Manufacturing and Vocabulary for Healthcare are 8 day classes offered in person at PCC’s Opportunity Centers. Using EnGen, an online program, participants will learn vocabulary essential in these fields. After completing a class, students will have access to EnGen for 3 months to continue to grow their English skills.

You will:

  • Learn how to use EnGen, an online language learning software
  • Practice listening, speaking, and writing with EnGen
  • Learn important words and phrases used in manufacturing and healthcare
  • Build confidence in your English skills
  • Get support enrolling into PCC’s ESOL program and more

Non-native English speakers (high beginner or higher) are encouraged to join!
