PACTEC

The Portland Area Career and Technical Education Consortium (PACTEC) is a formal agreement between:

  • Eight member districts
  • Two Direct recipient districts: Beaverton and Hillsboro School Districts
  • One Alliance partner district: Portland Public Schools

This results in additional support of Career & Technical Education (CTE) and state grant funding beyond the resources of any one district.

Benefits to our consortium members:

  • Federal grant funding support: Implementation of Perkins-directed program elements
  • Oversight of Perkins funds to enrich the established Programs of Study and give purchasing power to smaller school districts
  • Coordinated professional development opportunities for continued teacher training
  • Teacher licensure support
