Why choose Communication Studies at PCC?
What students are saying
“Taking a public speaking course gave me better interview skills, more confidence, and better organization in speeches. It really has helped me give speeches and reports in my other classes.”
A democratic society depends on active, educated members of society, which in turn requires skilled communicators. Learning the principles of communication can make you a more effective participant in the great debate that we call democracy.
Learning how to speak publicly is important to your success in college. You will also learn how to better interact with others, improve your relationships, and understand differences in how people see the world. Improve and develop your speaking skills in our speech and presentation labs.
