Computer Applications and Web Technologies
Program closure
The Computer Applications and Web Technologies (CAWT) program will be closing after the 2020-2021 academic year. While many of the CAWT classes will continue to be offered until Spring 2021, students can no longer declare one of the CAWT Certificates or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degrees as their major. Current CAWT students, who are working towards completion of their CAWT Certificate or AAS Degree, should email their CAWT advisor or?cawtadvising@pcc.edu?for advising assistance.
The Computer Applications and Web Technologies program prepares students for careers in two large and growing fields: administrative support and web site development and design. Many students take these courses to improve their current job skills or to learn new skills to help them move into a new career. Our classes will support students in many other academic endeavors
For the benefit of our students, nearly all CAS/OS courses are offered in both a Online Learning and computerized classroom format. All CAS/OS courses applied to a certificate or degree must be passed with a “C” grade or better.
