Apply to Diesel Service

This program is limited entry, which means students must apply for admission. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, based on fully completing the application process.

Have you applied for financial aid?
If you need help paying for college, submit the FAFSA to apply for financial aid and get help with tuition, fees, expensive tools, and textbooks in the program.

How to apply

  1. Apply to PCC

    Applying to PCC is free and only takes a few minutes. Complete all PCC application steps before moving to the next step in the Diesel Service Program application process.

    Application timeline

    New students start in the Diesel Service program in Fall, Winter and Spring terms. Apply to the program as soon as you’ve completed the required steps.

  2. Complete prerequisites

    Meet the following prerequisites before starting the program:

    • Reading: placement into RD 90 or higher
    • Math: completion of MTH 20 or placement into MTH 60
  3. Attend an information session

    Sign up for an information session and attend in zoom. At the session, you’ll learn about program requirements regarding tools, scheduling, and time commitment.

  4. Submit application

    Complete the Diesel Service application.

After you apply

We will notify applicants through PCC email. All communication is done through your PCC email account.

Make appointment with program advisor: after you hear back about your application status, your next step is to make an appointment with the Diesel Service program advisor. At the appointment, you’ll create an academic plan and receive permission to register for classes.
