The Dealer Service Technology program is a partnership between Portland Community College and the participating Caterpillar dealerships in the Northwest. It is an industry-specific, two-year associate degree program with required on-the-job internships at your sponsoring Caterpillar dealership. It is designed to prepare you to become a qualified Caterpillar service technician.

As a Caterpillar Dealer Service Technician, you’ll be an educated, skilled professional who is part of the team Cat? dealers and customers count on. You’ll be the technician who diagnoses equipment problems, finds solutions, and performs the necessary service and repairs to keep customer¡¯s machines up and running.
