Transition-related healthcare
The landscape of trans healthcare is changing quickly. Below are some general resources to help you navigate access to transition related healthcare in Oregon.
Now that many have coverage through their insurance plans for this care, the challenge is finding affirming providers, which we hope you’ll be able to locate using the directories below. If you do not feel confident or comfortable with your current provider, you are encouraged to find another who will better serve your needs.
Unfortunately, most trans people are put in a position where they need to self-advocate throughout their care to a degree that most patients are not. If you need support in advocating for yourself, locate the Queer Resources on your PCC campus or in Portland at?Q Center.
