Explores intermediate studio painting techniques, materials, and concepts. Further develops and encourages creative problem solving and personal expression. Deepens skills and vocabulary to engage with art through critiques, which address formal, conceptual, and cultural issues. Prerequisites: ART 181. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
