Discusses fundamental concepts, principles, and rules of law that apply to business transactions. Includes the function and operation of the courts, alternative dispute resolution, torts, contract law, product liability, intellectual property, and recent developments in business law, such as cybercrime, social media and privacy. Prerequisites: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
