Introduces field research methods in human and cultural geography, as well as applications of geospatial tools to explore local landscapes. Incorporates a variety of field components to engage students in data collection and field observations. Includes research on a local issue, applying field method techniques to collect data, and digital storytelling with maps. Prerequisite: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
