Workforce Recruitment Program
The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is a recruitment and referral program that connects federal- and private-sector employers nationwide with highly motivated college students and recent graduates with disabilities, including veterans, who are seeking summer internships or permanent jobs. Candidates represent all majors and range from college freshmen to graduate and law school students. Information from candidates is compiled in a searchable database that is available through the WRP website to employers. Students apply to the WRP each fall through participating campuses managed by a WRP School Coordinator and can receive elective informational interviews with federal employees who serve as volunteer recruiters. College or university staff register their school and serve as a School Coordinator. Coordinators conduct outreach to eligible students and recent graduates, approve candidate application access, and schedule informational interviews with their assigned federal recruiter. www.wrp.gov

Campaign for Disability Employment
The Campaign for Disability Employment (CDE) is a nationwide media campaign to promote positive perceptions of people with disabilities and emphasize the value workers with disabilities bring to the workplace. The CDE produces public service announcements (PSA) for national television station distribution and coordinating discussion guides designed to stimulate conversation and help build a workplace culture supportive of disability employment. The CDE’s four PSAs can be viewed and downloaded from its website. In 2021, the CDE will release a new PSA called “Mental Health at Work: What Can I Do?” The CDE will also produce a discussion guide and background videos about the PSA cast members.?www.whatcanyoudocampaign.org

The Employer Assistance and Resource Network (EARN) is an employer-focused disability policy development and technical assistance center. EARN conducts research; engages with the business community; identifies effective policies and practices that support business needs; and provides resources, technical assistance, and training to help public- and private-sector employers recruit, hire, retain, and advance individuals with disabilities. SSI Youth Solutions
