Page types

There are two basic page types on the PCC website, site homepages and content pages. Programs are special and use three basic page types: program homepages, program award pages, and program application pages. PCC News and various site blogs use another set of archive and post page types. The 404 page another unique page type.

All pages on the website use the same WordPress theme (some sites use a child theme), except for the homepage.

Homepage

The PCC homepage is different from other all pages on the website.

Site homepages

Each "site" has its own homepage, with an optionally unique layout.

Content pages

Most pages on the website are content pages, which have an optional sidebar.

Program homepages

Program homepages look like content pages, but have a few required elements.

Program award pages

Program award pages show the basic information and class list for each degree or certificate.

Closed program application steps pages

Program application pages list the steps required to apply to a closed program.

News and blog posts

News stories and blog posts look like content pages but have some unique features.
