I come from a technology and communications agency background. I’ve worked for Apple, SGI, Adobe, Fleishman-Hillard, McCann Erickson, and other large corporations, as well as a number of startups in the social and mobile spaces in the roles of developer, designer, director, and chief technical officer. Before moving to Portland in 2006, I spent several years helping organize and run music production and computer literacy programs in San Francisco’s Mission district to empower and engage at-risk youth. Education is very important to me, and I’m now very proud to put the skills and experience I’ve picked up in the private sector towards building and improving the online tools for the PCC Library. When I am not sitting at the computer, I can be found playing silly games with my two boys, DJing in Portland nightclubs and producing electronic music in my studio.
