Women’s History Month

Women's History Month LogoMarch is Women’s History Month, a celebration of women’s contributions to events in history, science, and society. The United States has observed it annually since 1987.

The National Women’s Alliance designates a yearly theme for Women’s History Month. The 2024 theme celebrates “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.” The theme “recognizes women throughout the country who understand that, for a positive future, we need to eliminate bias and discrimination entirely from our lives and institutions.”
