Sally comes from the field with over 30 years of experience working with children, youth, and families in a variety of settings from residential treatment to Head Start to having her own consulting and training firm where she provides organizational training and consultations throughout the Pacific Northwest.

She approaches her work from an Attachment perspective and believes that everything is about relationships, the good, the bad, and the ugly.? She has expertise in Attachment Theory and 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网ment, Trauma Informed Practices, Brain 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网ment, Atypical 欧洲杯决赛竞猜app_欧洲杯足球网-投注|官网ment, Clinical Supervision, Program Design, Adoption, Child Welfare, and Foster Care, just to name a few.? The most challenging and satisfying work she has ever done is working with children who come from hard places.? Sally enjoys learning and is always reading a new book or article to stay informed and to keep up with her PCC students.

Sally has taught at the graduate, undergraduate and associates levels. She loves teaching at PCC the most because the students are so open to learning and ask the best questions.? She is a first-generation college graduate, and holds a BS in Psychology and an MSW.? She is a regular presenter at local, regional, and national conferences related to working with children, youth, and families.? She is a native Oregonian, an avid Blazer and Beaver fan, and believes that education is the fastest and most effective path to equity.

Being outdoors (but not camping) feeds Sally’s soul, and she enjoys hiking in Oregon’s forests and rugged Coast.? As an avid sports fan she and can be found (and heard) yelling at the TV or radio in an effort to be encouraging to the Blazers and the OSU Beavers.? Sally enjoys making jewelry, spending time laughing with friends and family to relax.? She loves live theater, concerts, and almost always has music playing.
