I’m Audrey Sauble, an art instructor in PCC’s Community Ed department. I teach nature journaling as a way to connect and explore the natural world.
Nature journaling is really a practice of observing and asking questions. While we will look at specific tools and art techniques that make journaling easier, my goal is to encourage students to slow down and notice the little things—whether that’s a particular shade of color, the way a pine cone’s scales wrap around its stem, or the sorts of questions that we discover while journaling.
